Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6 pcs of 48v 5kw Victron Multiplus can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. The Victron multiplus 5000w has a three-phase capability.

In addition to parallel connection, three multiplus units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output. But that’s not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be parallel connected for a 75 kW / 90 kva inverter and more than 2000 amps charging capacity.

Remote monitoring and control

Monitor and control your Victron multiplus 48/5000-70-100 5kw 48v battery inverter charger (230v) and system or systems locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free vrm app and free vrm portal website.

Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, via the required color control gx or venus gx, from adjusting your multi to auto-starting a back generator and more.  When the multiplus is connected to the ethernet, systems with a color control gx or other gx device can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.

Uninterrupted ac power (ups function)

In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the multiplus is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads.

This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Power control

dealing with limited generator, shoreside, or grid power: the Victron Multiplus 5000w is a very powerful battery charger. It will therefore draw a lot of current from the generator or shoreside supply (nearly 10 a per 5 kva multi at 230 vac).

With the multi-control panel, a maximum generator or shore current can be set. The 5kw (5000w) Victron Multiplus will then take account of other ac loads and use whatever is extra for charging, thus preventing the generator or shore supply from being overloaded.

Power assist

The Victron multiplus 48/5000-70-100 5kw (5000w) 48v battery inverter charger (230v) will prevent overload of a limited ac source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when an overload occurs. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shoreside supply with power taken from the battery.
